The Vision

God's Vision for Union Baptist Church in this millennium is to enlarge its Christian commitment to Jesus Christ, His Word and people through providing Christ-Centered worship experiences, ministries, and services relevant to nurturing the total well being of the holistic person (spirit, soul, mind and body).

More specifically, God's Vision of Union is to enlarge its Christian commitment by providing Bible-centered, Theologically sound preaching and teaching of God's Word; using relevant Christian approaches to introducing salvation to the unsaved, a church home to the "unchurched", continued encouragement and restoration to the membership and leading all to a spiritual, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Pastoral leadership, guidance and direction. Christ-like witnessing, evangelistic and outreach programs. Ministries, services and activities that support the spiritual, physical, emotional, social, educational, psychological and economical needs of the various family structures and the community.

Even more specifically, God's Vision calls for the building of a Christian Academy incorporating grades K through 12, Daycare and After School Programs, a Family Life Center, a Counseling Center, The Union Foundation, a new Worship Center and Chapel, Senior Citizens' Housing, and a new Campus Location. Jesus is calling our church to prepare His people for an EPIC WORK, greater than anything we have ever seen.

The Mission of Union Baptist Church is to bring people to Jesus Christ and Membership in His family, grow them in spiritual Maturity and equip them for Ministry in the church and life Mission in the world in order to Magnify God.
